Went in for a quick oil and filter change! Quick turnaround and $$$. They noted that I should get the main belt replaced since it was badly cracked was able to get it done while i waited. John and his staff are great car guys! Fair and honest!

I got a great quote to replace shocks and struts. Dan ordered them in and I dropped the car off the next morning. They kept me informed when they hit a snag but worked through it and got me back on the road. This is a honest shop that stands behind the work they do and it’s obvious.

I experienced a serious loss of cooling incident in my 2009 Sienna, which stopped the motor and stranded me. I had it towed to Chapman’s, and they began the tedious process of engine diagnosis to figure out what initially went wrong (radiator? water pump?) Since the vehicle had been driven a few miles farther than I wanted to, the motor experienced extreme heat without any cooling. This can damage the head, pistons, valves, etc. I was not surprised then to learn that I may have damaged the engine to a point of needing a full (used) replacement. Rather than repair an older (152k mi) van, I chose to shop for a newer vehicle. John Chapman offered to look over the new vehicle I had chosen before I purchased it, and was very helpful in handling all of the details of the old van and in getting me back on the road in my replacement. Everybody at Chapman’s was very easy to deal with at a time when I really needed the help; I highly recommend this shop.

As always, very helpful. They found a nail in my tire and repaired it right away. They ordered a replacement antenna for my car. It came in the next day and only took a few minutes. I trust Chapmans. It’s like going to a friend or family member.

I was provided with a complete report of everything that they looked at and will use the (few) negative points as a negotiating tool before making an offer to buy it. Once again, Chapman Automotive came through for me when the Ford dealer in Carlsbad couldn't fix my passenger door in a timely manner. Chapman got me in the next day, ordered the part and fixed it. I couldn't drive my car because the front passenger door kept flying open. I am always happy with Chapman's.

The facility was clean, John at the desk was friendly. I sat on a large sofa and read my book. There were many bays with cars being worked, but everyone seemed to be methodical about their particular job. It was pretty calm, a good sign. I would go use them again. Cost was about what I expected.
A very unusual problem on our older model Toyota 4 Runner that was diagnosed and repaired at Chapman's. The were efficient and accurate, honest from beginning to end.

CarMax is in the vusiness of selling cars, so they make it easy to buy. . .but the Chapman Pros are in the business of figuring what's wrong with a vehicle and then fixing it. Such knowledge is valuable when I'm spending thousands of dollars. I was glad they were able to tell me several things that had been fixed on my new car. . .and pointed out one that had not been. Armed with my info, CarMax is now fixing the issue for free and they have been very eager to keep me a happy customer. Thank you, John Chapman and team, for arming me with facts!!

I was at the doctor. Came out after my appt. and the battery was dead. Called Chapman's and John was there in 10 minutes. Started the car, followed him back to the shop. In 20 minutes I was on my way. I've visiting this shop for about 23 years. I moved to Fallbrook, and still drive down to Chapman's for all my auto needs.

Randal says he brought the vehicle in for a diagnostic, they took most of the day to identify everything they could going on with it, after that they were really on the ball with getting everything that they needed to get the most pertinent issues taken care of.
This was an amazing challenge for me and I had gotten my van back from letting someone borrow and the security system wouldnt allow it to turn on. He lost the key and he hot rodded it, these guys fixed it!!! With their expertise they were able to locate and new steering column and get it up and running with no codes anymore! Thank you guy!!

I recently had a battery problem and took my car to Chapman’s to diagnose. It turns out the problem was that I was carrying two key fobs and that somehow was running down the battery. Problem is fixed once I knew what it was. He could have sold me a new battery but John is honest and trustworthy and has been my main mechanic for many years and two cars. Highly recommend them.

I’ve taken mine and my wife’s care here for a few years now, mainly for oil changes but recently have had to do more serious work done. The guys at Chapman have always done a great job explaining what they recommend needs to be done and what can possible wait. Take the pressure off what is sometimes a large bill. The work is top notch and the service is great too.
I took advantage of their A/C check and found their evaluation to be accurate and fair. They fixed the problem promptly at a reasonable price. This was my first visit to them as I had always been happy with my prevuous mechanic but they are so much closer and I was throughly pleased and will now refer to them as " My Mechanic " for any future needs!

Needed a ride home today. Appointment was at 9 and I was home by 915. Needed my car by 3 and it was done by 215. Always confident they don’t do any unnecessary work . I got my tires here and checked the price with others everyone said were the lowest around. They were right there. Highly recommend this shop.

Awesome advisor and service technicians
Faced with an issue I couldn't figure out, I took my Mustang Bullitt to them to troubleshoot. They were very diligent in troubleshooting and determined it was a head gasket leak. They took over 2 weeks to repair but in the end, restored the engine to like new performance. They have even worked on my employers vehicles with equal results.
John Chapman (owner) took my service request. Gave me an estimate and approximate completion time. Both were as promised. Have dealt with John for several years and trust him as an honest business man.
Johnny said they are always fair with pricing. They have comfortable waiting room. They try to give discounts when they can and are good, overall.

John, the owner is always nice and kind. He takes his time explaining the problem with your car if there is one. Sometimes there is really nothing wrong and he tells you so. This is an honest family owned business. You can leave knowing that your car is and always will be in good hands knowing that you will not get ripped off like a lot of other dealers. Trust me on this one. If you have to wait for your car repairs there is a large seating area, nice, clean and inviting and a big T.V. to watch. A home away from home.
